Verdi’s Requiem

The Dearborn Symphony closes its 64th season with Verdi’s Requiem—a powerful, soul-stirring masterpiece for orchestra, chorus, and soloists. Performed 25 years ago to inaugurate the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center, Vanguard Voices, under the direction of G. Kevin Dewey, and Dearborn Symphony unite to bring this epic work back to where it launched a new era of the performing arts in Dearborn. With its operatic intensity and spiritual depth, Verdi’s Requiem is a once-in-a-generation musical experience.
