Along The Silk Road The Music of the Levant & North Africa

On April 18, 2026 at 8:00 PM, the National Arab Orchestra returns to the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center in Dearborn for Along the Silk Road: The Music of the Levant and North Africa, Directed by Michael Ibrahim — an evening celebrating the depth and diversity of Arab music across the Levant and North Africa. For the first time in Michigan, acclaimed Egyptian vocalist Eman Abdelghani joins the orchestra in a program featuring iconic works from the golden age of Arab song alongside beloved folkloric and orchestral repertoire. The concert will also include the premiere of a new work by Ibrahim, with additional guest artists and large-scale collaborations to be announced, further expanding the sound and scope of the evening.
