Dearborn Youth Theatre invites your child to join us for “The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition!”

This high-energy, two-week theatre program–offered through the Cultural Arts Division of the Dearborn Parks & Recreation Department–provides a hands-on introduction to the world of theatre.

Students will bring this beloved musical to life while learning to sing, dance, and act. Throughout our program, participants will build confidence, creativity, and teamwork in a fast-paced, supportive environment, climaxing with a fully-staged performance of this timeless classic.

Dates: Monday through Friday, June 15–27

Times: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Location: Ford Community & Performing Arts Center

Ages: 7-14

Performances: June 26 at 6 p.m. and June 27 at 2 p.m. in the Michael A. Guido Theater

Cost: $225 for Dearborn residents, $250 for non-residents

Please note that rehearsals may be extended on certain days for some participants, but not beyond 6 p.m. A detailed schedule will be provided to families on the second day of rehearsals.
